Events and Marketing Manager-Full Time, full benefits. $46,460 to $62,857 a year, DOE. The incumbent in this position will be responsible for all aspects of producing and executing annual festival-type events for the City with a hands-on attitude. The incumbent will work with a designated marketing firm and be responsible for directing all marketing efforts, including Tourism, and supervising related staff for the City. The manager will also have web content/internet marketing duties and responsibilities such as assisting the marketing firm with writing, editing, and proofreading new content for City websites; working with developers to assess any technical challenges in displaying web content; and working with developers to improve and maintain city websites. Additionally, this position will perform various municipal obligations, including serving as the Public Information Officer. This position prefers at least two years of college level business-related education, or substantial experience in developing and executing events or a combination of both. Three or more years of office experience is preferred. Successful applicant must have a working knowledge of MS Word, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat software. A successful applicant must also be self-motivated and creative. Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and be able to provide an acceptable motor vehicle record from any state in which a license has been held within the previous three years.

Heritage Tourism Assistant-Part Time, no benefits. $10.23-$13.84, DOE. The Heritage Tourism Department is accepting applications for the position of Heritage Tourism Assistant. This position will work at the Heritage Center, Information Center, and Outlaws and Lawmen Jail Museum, and any additional city attractions as needed. Customer service experience preferred. Good communication skills are necessary for greeting visitors in person, by telephone and by e-mail. Computer skills including Microsoft Office preferred. Weekends and/or Holidays will be required. High school diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid Colorado Driver's License, or be able to obtain one within 30 days of being hired. Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check and provide an acceptable motor vehicle record from any state in which a license has been held for the previous 3 years.

Receptionist/Office Assistant-Part Time, no benefits. Starting pay $11.85 an hour, DOE. 24 hours per week, weekdays. This position will perform clerical duties and assist with record keeping tasks and provide administrative support for the Public Works Department. Coordinates and communicates Public Works activities with other City departments, outside agencies, and the public. Prior office experience strongly preferred. Applicant must have excellent telephone and interpersonal skills for working with the public, as well as interdepartmental relationships. Applicant must be able to operate a personal computer, using the Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word, along with other programs. Must be at least 18 years old, high school graduate or equivalent and have a valid Colorado Driver's License or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of appointment. Police Dispatcher-Full-Time-Starting salary $31,446 a year, DOE. Full benefits package. Job duties include: process emergent/non-emergent calls for Police, Fire, and EMS. Must be able to: monitor and answer multi-channel radios and monitor additional frequencies for adjacent jurisdictions; maintain accurate and current awareness of the status and location of all personnel and equipment; operate computer terminals to enter, query, modify and/or delete data from NCIC/CCIC and CAD systems; maintain confidentiality; monitor building surveillance equipment. Must also be able to perform well in high stress situations, work within a team environment, assist with various clerical duties and assist the public. Experience preferred, but not required. Must be 18 years or older, have a valid Colorado driver's license or the ability to obtain one within 30 days; pass a background check, polygraph, drug test, audiogram, computer skills test and other job specific testing. Must provide an acceptable motor vehicle record from any state in which a license has been held within the previous three years.
