Police Dispatcher-Full-Time, full benefits. $33,018-$44,671 a year, DOE. The Police Department is now hiring for a Dispatcher. Job duties include: process emergent/non-emergent calls for Police, Fire, and EMS. Must be able to: monitor and answer multi-channel radios and monitor additional frequencies for adjacent jurisdictions; maintain accurate and current awareness of the status and location of all personnel and equipment; operate computer terminals to enter, query, modify and/or delete data from NCIC/CCIC and CAD systems; maintain confidentiality; and monitor building surveillance equipment. Must also be able to perform well in high stress situations, work within a team environment, assist with various clerical duties and assist the public. Shift work required for 24/7 emergency operations. Requirements include: experience preferred, but not required. Must be 18 years or older, have a valid Colorado drive'rs license or the ability to obtain one within 30 days, pass background check, polygraph, drug test, audiogram, MVR check, computer skills test and other job specific testing.
