Mission statement:
To provide quality police services in the community; to treat everyone with dignity and respect, and to maintain peace, order and safety for the benefit of all.

Goals and objectives:
  • Continue to develop a relationship with the casino security leaders' coalition including the Division of Gaming to address issues relating to crime and disorder in the casinos; encouraging and promoting development to enhance, expand and diversify the local economy, and working with casinos on issues that are important to the industry.
  • Participate in the historical ambience of the community through a partnership with the Victorian Society and continued development and participation of "historical dress" patrol and activities.
  • Research and explore partnerships with community entities and area criminal justice agencies designed to enhance police services with minimal fiscal impact.
  • Continue and enhance the School Resource Officer Program; participating in community drug awareness and enforcement efforts.
